Psalms 2:8-12

8 ‘Ask it of Me, and ^aI will certainly give ^bthe ^{▼▼Or Gentiles}nations as Your inheritance,
And the ^dends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall ^{▼▼Another reading is rule
,} ^fbreak them with a ^{▼▼Or scepter; or staff}rod of iron,
You shall ^hshatter them like ^{▼▼Lit potter’s ware}earthenware.’”

10 Now then, you kings, ^juse insight;
Let yourselves be instructed, you ^{▼▼Or leaders}judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with ^{▼▼Or fear
,} ^mreverence
And rejoice with ⁿtrembling.
12 ^{▼▼I.e., probably kiss the feet of the Son}Kiss ^pthe Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way,
For ^qHis wrath may be kindled quickly.
How blessed are all who ^rtake refuge in Him!
